Another well known image of the Tetons is with this old barn called the Moulton Barn.  It really gives the idea of the old west/cowboy world that this area's history is based on.

When in the mountains, it is a requirement to have photos of wild flowers and peaks.  I am not one to buck the trend so here are a couple more.

Later that day we decided to take a hike to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point near Lake Jenny.  There is a boat ride you can take across the lake and continue the hike from the dock, it cuts out a couple miles each way of the hike if you wish or you can hike around the lake.  We decided to take the boat over to the other side and then hike around the lake on the way back.  Just down the trail we spotted a yellow belly marmot having a snack.  It was just off the trail and did not care if we humans were hanging out less the 5 feet from him/her.

One theme you will probably notice in my images is that I like water in them.  Living in San Diego, we do not have any running water like rivers, streams and waterfalls to speak of and I miss that, so when I am around an abundance of flowing water I like it a lot and tend to take photos of it.

This is Hidden Falls.  There is still plenty of snow melt going on, so this falls was roaring.

Next along the trail was Inspiration Point.  This overlook had great views of the valley and Lake Jenny below.  While at this stop 4 hikers walked by with snow skis and boots strapped to their backs.  They had started the day hiking up the mountains from the west side, skied the snowcap area and then continued to hike out on the east side of the mountains.  I am sure it was fun, but I think I'll just stick to using a chair lift in at a ski resort.

The area is very green and lush, something I am trying to capture in the below image of the trail near Lake Jenny.
