We didn't stay at Niagara to long, we spent a lot of hours around the falls and were ready to get away from the tourist world.  We drove a pretty short distance to Letchworth State Park.  I had read about this place on a RV forum I often read.  It is sometimes called the Grand Canyon of the east coast.  I think that is only if you have not been out of the east coast.  None the less, it is a great park with beautiful scenery, great hikes, and nice waterfalls.

There are 3 main waterfalls along the river that has made the canyon.  Below is the Lower Falls.   The hike to see the falls was less then a mile, but here we got out first real taste of warm humid air.  I had to take my shirt to prevent it from getting to soaked, good think, I had lost 50 lbs. before this trip.

This is the middle falls from a lookout along the road through the park.  You can also see the train trestle that is above the upper falls.

This is the Middle falls again from the patio of the nice little Inn and gift shop that is in the park.

The Upper Falls and train trestle.  Who ever named the 3 waterfalls certainly was not the greatest creative genius.

Here is our campsite at Letchworth State Park.  We had only electric hookups, but we only stayed one night.  The sites are quite large.
