From the Ashville area, we headed up over the mountains to the Smokey Mountain National Park. Here we are in the Cades Cove area

This area had plenty of settlers living here and they were more or less forced out to make the national park. The park maintained some of the original cabins and working buildings to show the history of the area.

This original mill was still grinding grain to show how it was done along time ago.

Just outside the park is a section of the Little River that MANY inner-tube down for fun. I dropped off Lori, Capri, and Jake so they could ride the rapids. The area was having a bit of a drought so there were more rocks to avoid then normal.

This is our campsite at the Townsend KOA.

Next we headed across the state to a stop in Memphis. My cousin Mason lives there, but his house is a little more modest this this one. This is our tour of Graceland.

This house was not changed much from when Elvis moved in, very 60ish. The kitchen was decorated in beautiful avocado green.

This is the famous Jungle Room

Parts of the complex has been made into a museum. If you are a big Elvis fan, there are a lot of great things to see here.

I think this guy must have sold a few records.

Here is where Elvis "supposedly" rest today along with his parents. I swear we saw him later in the trip pumping gas in New Mexico.
