From Gettysburg, we made a quick hop over to Hershey Pa. to check out Chocolate World and the museum there.

Hershey liked museums and began gathering items for his own early one. Here were many Native American items that you got hands on with.

Of course there was plenty of stuff about Hershey and chocolate.

Hershey PA is in the Amish areas so this museum had a fair amount on the Pennsylvania Dutch.

The next day we headed out for Williamsburg Virginia, but along the route is Mt. Vernon, the home of George Washington.

An interesting fact is that the house is sided in wood that was cut to look like stone. Maybe he got the idea from his own teeth.

Here is where George hangs out now along side Martha. There is a family mausoleum on the property.

The museum at Mt. Vernon is world class, along with several others we visited in the east coast. The exhibits were well done, presented well and maintained as if they were just created. They had "Georges" from different ages, this is him at 35 when he was a surveyor.

I had only ever seen Martha as and old lady but there is a portrait of her when she was young. Wow, what a difference, George married a hottie.

George and Martha are always happy to have visitors as you can tell by their smiles.
