We stayed in a campground just outside Zion right across the Virgin River from the national park campground, Watchman.  We preferred this location for the full hookups for the camper.  Several days in one place without water, electric, and sewer is pretty tough with 4 of us, plus its the start of winter so having electric for the heaters is really helpful.

We spent several days exploring and hiking throughout Zion.

Since it was November, we did get to see some fall colors around the park.  We really do not get a lot of color change in San Diego with all the palm trees, so this was a pleasant extra from the timing of our trip.
